Léon Félix

ABOUT

My name is Léon Félix, I am a young designer working in Lausanne, Switzerland. I am interested in the narrative potential of materials and I like to experiment with different techniques. I studied at ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne), from which I graduated in industrial design in June 2022. I currently divide my time between my design practice and a job as a craftsman in the ECAL’s model workshop. In my personal practice, I try to continue the different researches started in the last years, aiming to establish a relationship between technique, material and use. A will to transform the passive consumer into an engaged user. I also collaborate with different artists and designers I met during my studies with whom I discovered a complementarity, together we develop a common language on projects ranging from publishing to micro-architecture.
